Timbo Stillinger grew up enjoying and appreciating water in all of its various physical forms. He eventually went on to pursue a life in academia studying Environmental Science and Management, with an emphasis on improving the forecasting and management of water supplies from seasonal mountain snowpacks. receiving and masters and a PhD for his efforts. In this episode, I sit down with Timbo on a viewpoint bench overlooking our local surf break, to discuss his past and current work projects. We learn how to improve our awareness, activism and impact on natural systems in our local environments and how he landed a job that paid him to surf, at least once a day.
